And how good was he tonight? 11 big points and every shot was as hot that UK needed at the time.
He has been fantastic the last 3 weeks.
-------------------- Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

Dom has been magnificent. And Willis is playing much better too. Glad to see our seniors (and our Kentucky boys) stepping up. We certainly need them!

A well deserved bravo to Hawkins. He has a bit of steel in him.

He doesn't get overshadowed by the "stars" on the court, and that's a great attitude for a bench player to have.

And about the other underapreciated two. The big guy who can hit down a three and the clumsy oaf that can get a rebound.

We have some great freshmen but we are an elite 8 team because of the play of Willis and Dom. Those freshmen Fox and Monk looked pretty darn good too. Great team win last night, good to see them all playing defense, that is what will win championships for you. Apparently the SEC was not the weak conference many of us and the so called pros of tv considered it to be. With 3 of the elite 8 teams and a guarantee of at least one in the final four, the conference is looking pretty good this evening. [ 03-25-2017, 05:14 AM: Message edited by: SCWC ]

Agree. The whole team performed well.

There was sort of a line drawn in the sand and some were on one side of it and some on the other. Unfortunately last night Bam was on the wrong side of it. Hope he can recover and be a big part of the game tomorrow. We are going to need him against UNC and their big guys. Someone is gong to foul out of that game. UNC's two big guys will be looking to put him in trouble but I feel he is the one who is going to do the inflicting.
