Monk-Briscoe-and Fox went 11-37 and we still won on the road.

We out-rebounded them 40-26 which was big for the Cats.

How about Derek Willis!! Perfect from the floor and 12 rebounds. He was huge in this game.

Our bench went 9-14 from the field. Awesome.

Nice to see Willis, Hawkins and Mulder with good games. Just a great team effort, especially in 2nd half to win a tough game. Loved hearing "Go Big Blue" from the stands.

Georgia made 17 of 31 second half shots against our very poor defense. One time they were in a zone and a Ga player drove right through it for an uncontested lay up. This team do not like playing on the defensive end of the floor and that is where championships are won.

Free throws won this game. Our defense will be our downfall in the tournament. I just don't understand why we won't play more zone, even some triangle, or box on Frazier. Zone would have been perfect as they were 3-15 on threes., but shot 50% for the game. Bam is horrible on defense, and we look like we have never defended a pick and roll. Glad they were able to pull it out last night, but it really should not have been as close as it was. Frazier was unbelievable and we had no one who could stop him. UGA did a good job of switching defenses and keeping us from running. If Fox doesn't take over at the end we don't win.

I agree. It shouldn't have been such a struggle to beat Georgia. Defense will be this team's downfall. I do wish Cal would use more zone.
