I'm no expert but I've never thought his defense was any worse than some who played more minutes than him. I admit to being biased when it comes to both Hawkins and Willis. I have always thought both deserved more playing time while at UK.

I don't know that he is any weaker defensively than any other player on this team. This entire team don't seem to care much about playing defense.

I don't even know why Cal has to say those things in public. I never have liked when he does stuff like this, and I am sure Willis doesn't either. Build your players up to the media, don't say anything at all, or say it in general. I guess I have come to accept Cal's limitations as a coach. I often say to myself, "Cal you can't do that to your team. They need you to be better." I hope Willis has a great game at UGA, but i really have never felt that Cal had Willis' back. Instead of saying anything about how great he played last game he chooses to talk about his limitations. Really?
