I can't put the video clip with this. I recall that play and the announcer making that statement. Bam, for his athleticism and size is a total void on defense and his offense if limited to dunks and his rebounding is not very good for a man of his size and natural athleticism. This is Cal's second team where he has really missed on his big man for the middle, Bam is stronger than Skal was last year but not a whole lot better as a player. No one on this team seems to like playing defense for some reason or another.

My brother was the biggest Skal critic there was last year. Tonight at dinner he said, "Skal ain't looking so bad, now." I thought that was kind of funny.

Bam is the freshman I'm most disappointed with. I thought he would be a beast for this team. Unless something drastic happens this team will not make it past the 2nd round of the tournament.

Bam today ended up with 7 rebounds and we had one of our guards (Briscoe) who ended up with 11 boards. Bam has a lot of work to do to become a better rebounder!
