Interesting Duquesne stats in that they shot 30% fg, 20% 3 point shots and "91%" from the free throw line. (20-22) (we have to learn to guard the free throw line better.

I don't know about others here but I have really been impressed with the play of Mulder thus far this season. He has really improved his game from last season and would probably be a starting guard for most teams in college ball today. We are knee deep in quality guards, Monk, Fox, Briscoe, Mulder and Hawkins are all outstanding guards. Never have I seen so many quality guards on one team and I have watched college basketball a ton of years.

According to the stats we got 21 rebounds from our guards last night.

Briscoe's stat line is outstanding: In 17 minutes, he had 13 points, 5 assists, 4 steals, and 3 boards. Wow!

I agree, SCWC. I have never seen a stable of guards so deep and talented as we have this year. Amazing!

Unless we get real lucky next years team will not be as deep with quality. It's taken us 4 years to build this strength at guard. We still need at least 2 or 3more guards or wings that can handle the ball. It's hard to say that when we have a great class of 4 recruits already. We need a couple of guys out of Young, Diallo or Vanderbilt. Of course Bomba would be very welcome also. [Big Grin]
