Box Score

We took their fans out of the game very early, you could see them leaving the arena with ten minutes left in the game. A lot of Cat fans obviously got in to see the game live, lots of blue in that arena, that is why they had a sell out.

We are starting to play great team defense. Lee showed up with his good game today when we needed it.

You know that has to hurt when you hear chants of GO BIG BLUE in your arena while your team is getting blown off the floor@

Our defense is what is going to make us or break us. If we keep playing like we did today it's no telling good we will be come tournament time.

Lee had 13 rebounds and next 3 players had 5 boards all 3 of them were guards.

Willis played 18 minutes and had 2 boards. He has to get more active on the boards.

I would like to see Willis more active on the boards, but we are a better team when he is playing the 4 spot. His presence at the 4 pulls a big man away and opens up driving lanes for the three guards.

I agree Ga Cat, Willis has made us a better team offensively and has been doing much better at defending and rebounding. He had an off day rebouding today but did make three of four three point shots. I was good to see Lee back playing like the old Lee today, he had a great game.

We played our best game of the year in a hostile environment and a 27 point win. We keep playing like that from here on out and we will be a final four team.

Don't forget Willis only played 18 minutes. He went to the bench about halfway thru the first half and didn't return. Then he got into more foul trouble in the second half. I didn't care for the refs calls in the first half at all. I can see why Cal got thrown out. They were letting SC rough house us from the get go. Looks like the 3 muskateers running the show after Cal left can do a great job of running the show. Seems like they knew how to substitute and when. Can't wait to get UT in here this week and put it on them.
