For only the second time this season, South Carolina will have a sold-out arena when Kentucky plays there Saturday. It’s only the arena’s eighth sellout.

South Carolina has beat Texas A&M and LSU in its last two games. Kentucky has routed Georgia and Florida.

Kentucky coach John Calipari likes what coach Frank Martin has done at South Carolina. Remember the Gamecocks beat UK two years ago and also knocked off the John Wall team in Columbia.

“And then Frank in South Carolina, it’s obvious what he’s doing. I mean, they’ve got 20 wins already. They’re probably one of the few teams that have 20 wins already,” Calipari said.

“They’ve won on the road, they’ve won at home. They’re tough as nails. Again, he’s playing some zone and they’re playing man, and they’re just taking on his personality.”

Playing South Carolina as their place is not going to be easy. They already sold out and will be loud and rowdy. The good thing is our talent is far superior.

The game being at noon maybe the crowd won't have too much time to get wound up. Hopefully it will be cold there as well. Go Cats!!

We are expecting one of the coldest days of the year here in SC. Normally a lot of Cat fans get into our game at SC but it is a complete sell out for today's game, only the second sell out SC have had in the history of their arena.

Shooting %! WE MUST SHOOT A GOOD % IF WE WANT TO WIN. Good defense wouldn't hurt either. No one must get into foul trouble. Not asking much for a win. [Big Grin]
