Topic: LSU loses 2nd game in two nights

LSU just dropped their second game in two nights to a rather weak NC State team. LSU appear to have some fairly decent talent but do not appear to be well coached at this point in the season. Simmons is a tremendous player who plays like a guard at 6 10. They also lost to a Marquette team they should have beaten last night.

Simmons fouled out in the second half and had to sit and watch his team lose in the overtime session of the game!

LSU didn't shoot the ball well at all going 36% from the field, 33% from the 3 point line and 50% on their free throw. The game was played on the road however.

LSU. like much of the SEC, are really not a very good team at this juncture of the season. Simmons has a very weak supporting cast helping him. I see why he is at LSU, his godfather just happens to be an assistant coach to Johnny Jones. I am more impressed with Vandy than any SEC team I have seen, they play Kansas tonight in the championship game of the Maui classis, we will know a lot more about them after that game. Right now, I consider Vandy a much better team than we are.
