I just finished watching Northern Iowa beat the Number one ranked North Carolina Tarheels by a score of 71 to 67. Good game to watch. UNC are hurting without their point guard Paige who is out with a broken hand. We will probably be number one in both polls this week.

Any day UNC loses is a good day. Monday will also be a good day when I see the idiotic UNC fan at work who has been asking me the last few months why UK was afraid to schedule UNC this year. I think I'll tell him we normally look for better competition. ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

I missed the first half, did not realize UNC had a 50 to 34 lead which was made up by Northern Illinois. Good teams don't lose when they have a sixteen point lead normally. Paige does make a big difference and UNC were playing in Iowa to honor Paige in his senior year since he is from that state.

Northern Iowa were down 9 at the half and won the second half 39-26.

It goes to show that when you play on the road you can't take anyone for granted. This has to be one of the worst losses for North Carolina in a very long time.

Maybe they have been offered another course on practice they can mail in like they did academics!
