If you were in charge and got to start a new rivalry, who would it be?
I would pick a home and home series with Arizona.

Would love to get Duke in a home-and-home arrangement, but three ACC teams (UNC, UofL, and Duke) would be a bit much. Arizona is a good idea, but it wouldn't do much to help our recruiting.
Hmmmm....
How about UConn? I despise them almost as much as I do Duke. It would be nice to put the kabosh on them every year. ![[Smile]](smile.gif) Plus, there is a lot of talent in the Northeast. It wouldn't hurt for them to see the local heroes get crushed by UK.

Az is the most logical choice due to their rise in the last few years. I can't think of any other team. Ohio St or Mich St are the only other schools that come to mind. There are some good players coming out of those areas.

As long as UK has Calipari, the recruiting angle wasn't part of my consideration. All I was thinking of was an opponent that I would like to see on the schedule. From day 1 of the Cal era, I have never worried about recruiting.
