It's yet to be seen if Booker will be a starter but it sure does look like he is going to get minutes from the get go.
NBA.com writer John Schuhmann watched Phoenix rookie Devin Booker play in the summer league in Las Vegas along with returning guards Archie Godwin and T.J. Warren.
He noted that both Warren and Goodwin scored more and shot better from the field than Booker — 15.3 points per game, 40 percent from the field).
Yet Suns coach Jeff Hornacek noted that Booker's defense could give him the edge for playing time over Goodwin, another former Wildcat, and Warren.
Phoenix likely will start former Cats Brandon Knight and Eric Bledsoe at the guard spots, but Booker seems poised to be in line for plenty of playing time. Link

Booker and Goodwin subbing for starters Bledsoe and Knight. Wow -- an NBA team with a full UK backcourt.
Awesome!
Phoenix and Sacramento (WCS, Boogie, and Rondo) are going to be much-watch teams for me.

It be nice to get the NBA channel. I think it's time this year to give it a go. It's a bit pricy at 200.00 bucks a season but with all the Cats playing it will be a whole lot of entertainment. Just watching to see how Rondo and Boogie get along will be worth the money.

CMD,
Boogie and Rondo will indeed be a volatile mix. Those are two huge personalities that will either completely mesh or continually clash.
If they manage to mesh, I could see an awesome two-man game emerge like Stockton and Malone back in the day. Should be fun to watch. [ 07-25-2015, 07:20 AM: Message edited by: Tiptree ]

TT, you nailed it, the good thing is Rondo loves to pass and Boogie loves to score. I think it will work if Rondo hasn't lost a step with his torn ACL injury. If he can't do the things he did before the injury his mind set isn't going to be good and his game and attitude will take a nose dive. imo
