He is a true 7 footer too.
Just when you thought the 2015 recruiting class was finished, it may not be over quite yet.
Greek 7-footer Georgios Papagiannis told Jonathan Givony of Draft Express on Tuesday that he’s still considering going to college in 2015 and has a short list of N.C. State, St. John’s and Kentucky.
He is is a 7-foot-1, 235 pound center from Greece, who is considered to be a four-star prospect and the No. 12 center in the country for 2015, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
He spent the 2013-14 season playing in the United State for Westtown School (PA) before signing a multi-year contract with Panathinaikos, one of the best basketball teams in Greece. Despite playing for a professional team, his contract his set up to allow him to retain his amateur status and playing in college if he chooses.

Soft touch on offense, not terribly athletic. On defense he seems to have a tendency to 'lean in' when trying to block. That works when you are 8-10" taller that they poor shrimp you are blocking, but that will be a foul every time in college against a skilled big man.
Not so sure about this one. Not one bit of video of him competing head-to-head against anybody near his size.

Here is what Sports Illustrated has to say about him.
Papagiannis-to-the-NCAA crowd: He told SI.com that it "it's one of my dreams to go to college. … From the beginning [when] I started loving basketball and saw all these great players on TV, I thought I want to go to college."
As for which college (if any) is most likely to add that piece to its roster, it's difficult to identify a clear leader. St. John's has an obvious hole to fill with Obekpa, has made a strong, late push since Chris Mullin was hired in April, and believes it has a real shot at Papagiannis. Kentucky is Kentucky, and has a legit need for more front-line depth. N.C. State was the most recent school to visit Papagiannis, with Mark Gottfried making a trip to Greece in April. Oregon also traveled to Athens and since has developed the most interesting angle into the recruitment.
Pulling a five-star caliber big man out of a foreign country more than a month after the end of the late signing period is a coup under any circumstances, but if Oregon lands Papagiannis by working its Nike connections with the Nike-sponsored Greek national team, and by dropping in a roommate-slash-recruiter who was an American citizen as of a eight days ago, that would be an all-time coup. A decision should come in the next week, and so around the same time Greece votes on how to handle its latest, and worst, economic catastrophe and perhaps sets course for leaving the eurozone, fans of the Ducks, N.C. State, St. John's and Kentucky will be rooting for a Greek exit that's only relevant in their small pockets of America: that of one, 7'1" center, named Georgios Papagiannis.

It's players like this that makes the game of basketball what it is. We all have different opinions on players like Papagian and no one knows for sure just how good he is or what he is going to do and only time will tell.

I hope if he comes to UK he didn't get paid while he was playing.

Gunny, you make a good point about getting paid. We sure don't want to get mixed up with the NCAA on any of that crap. Got to make sure any of these foreign players haven't been paid anything that would jeopardize their amateur status.

He did get paid. But supposedly, the way it was arranged preserves his amateur status.
That is what Enes Kanter thought as well. I hope this guy learned what NOT to do from Enes' saga!

Don't forget about the last overseas player that tried to play for UK. They were all over him worse than if the IRS was doing an audit on him. The NCAA probably has 10 guys looking into him already.
