UK signee Skal Labissiere has been named the No. 1 overall recruit in the class of 2015 by Rivals.com, which posted its final rankings Wednesday. Labissiere — a 7-footer from Haiti now living in the Memphis area — wowed scouts and recruiting analysts during the recent all-star circuit with his versatile and ever-evolving game. He signed with Kentucky in November. He is John Calipari’s first No. 1 recruit in the Rivals.com rankings since John Wall signed with the Wildcats in 2009. Former UK players Anthony Davis, Nerlens Noel and Julius Randle were all ranked No. 2 in the final Rivals rankings in their respective classes. UK’s other two signees for the class of 2015 also made the Rivals top 50: New Jersey point guard Isaiah Briscoe at No. 10 and Chicago shooting guard Charles Matthews at No. 48. Calipari is targeting five more uncommitted players from the top 10: 3. Jaylen Brown, 4. Brandon Ingram, 5. Cheick Diallo, 8. Malik Newman and 9. Thon Maker.
