this may not have been the blow out ever one wants---but you have to hand it to our team they never quit---never gave up. and the last 11---12 minutes we made ever shot---now the score was close but we won---next two games notre dame will be home watching kentucky play and win a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP and that in the end will be what matters most and always remember

That was just the kind of game we needed going into the final four. Hopefully our kids learned a lot from playing Notre Dame that will help them win two more games in Indy next weekend.

This ND team was so underrated. This team beat Duke 2 out of 3, Beat NC twice and VA. once.

The schedule ND had was tough playing in the ACC but come tournament time it helped them. The tournament separates the men from the boys and 5 of the teams left in the final 16 were out of the ACC. You compare that to the SEC who had only 2 teams in the final 32 and just us remaining in the final 16. We did play a tough non-schedule like we do every year which helped but after that the SEC teams really were not that competitive.imo

It's been an ongoing thing that KY and FL have been the only two programs in recent memory to represent the SEC in the NCAA Tourney past the first weekend for years!
At least since the mid 90's when Arkansas had a pretty solid program!
