We did a great job defending the 3 as ND is a very good 3 point shooting team.

UK scored on every possession the last 11 minutes of the game. I didn't realize that until I heard the question posed to Cal during the Press Conference.

Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

When the chips were on the line the Harrison's were there. They all contributed however and never gave up.

And thank goodness for Willie who blocked the shot that caused Notre Dame's only turnover of the second half with 35 seconds to go. That was a huge play and turned out to be decisive. Also, great defense by Willie and Lyles on the last three point shot attempt by Grant, huge defensive plays to seal the victory.

I'm glad we can praise all these things this morning but I think these guys need to reevaluate themselves and their complete defense. Cal and most everyone couldn't figure out how to defend these guys. But now they have a completely different type of team to defend next Saturday. I didn't think Kaminsky was as good as he is but he will cause us problems if he takes it to the hole like he did yesterday. Last nights game was basically 6 men against 7 for 90% of the game. ND almost played 5 guys if it hadn't been for 1 guy getting into foul trouble.

Augustete did get in foul trouble early but he played 27 minutes in the game, was Notre Dame's leading scorer with 20 points. I did not think we played well defensively but you have to give this team credit, they find ways to win games when they have off nights, that is the mark of an outstanding team and why they currently stand undefeated at 38 and 0. Notre Dame posed defensive problems for us because of their outstanding three point shooting ability which Cal decided to take away and make them beat us taking two point shots.
