They are just terrible on defense tonight. Karl has scored but he has given up more than he has put up on the offensive end.

Lyles also just has given the ball away with his 5 TO's which have led to 12 ND points.

Crappy way to end the season. Oh well.

Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

AT least they found a way to win on a night they really did not play any defense at all and their ball handling was suspect at best. Thank goodness for the Harrison twins down the stretch, they made the plays that won it for us.

Amen to all of the previous comments. Cal just commented on how KAT was not playing well defensively which was the main reason, instead of the 4 fouls, that he was going offense/defense with him down the stretch.

You either guard the 3 and open up the middle or you pack it in down low and leave the 3 pointers open. We did enough to win the game and that's what it's all about. ND was 46% from the field but only 28% from the 3 point line. ND stays home and we move on!

Bean, we definitely earned it. On an off night defensively our offense came up big the last 12 minutes of the game. We are used to seeing our defense carry us, last night it was our offense.

I disagree. We made the plays down the stretch that turned the game around. We made our last 9 shots while ND was only 6 of their last 15. We did what we had to do down the stretch and because of that, we deserved to win and the team should be proud of what they accomplished!

Even though we shot good down the stretch we did not play our normal last 10 minutes of the game because we couldn't defend them. We were very fortunate to win the game and I would hope they would learn from this. Earlier in the game we made numerous stupid plays that lost the ball for us. As Cal mentioned we actually threw the ball to them several times early in the game instead of throwing it to our players. I personally thought they were sleep walking for most of the game and wanted to go home and go to bed. This was a very good lesson for them to use in the next game.

2 of Lyles first half turnovers were passes right to ND!
