Bryant is a player no doubt about it.
Kentucky freshman Trey Lyles explained Friday why Los Angeles Laker star Kobe Bryant is his favorite player.
“Kobe is my favorite player so I watch him a lot. I watch his workout tapes, highlights and stuff like that. Try to learn from guys. Then again, Tim Duncan (of San Antonio) is another guy I learned from just being fundamentally sound, learning how to use footwork and angles off the glass, stuff like that,” Lyles said.
“I met Kobe a couple times at LeBron Camp and stuff like that. Laid back guy. He was joking around and stuff like that, so it was just cool to meet an idol like that.”

On the court, he is not a bad one to look up to. Off the court, he would be better suited to look elsewhere.

Aside from having an extra marital affair.... To my recollection Kobe has been nothing but above the board....
The Press hated him, Shaq disliked him, but considering his wife has forgiven him and they have been together for 15 years since the incident... It all about perspective, and the press will paint your perspective any way THEY want you to see it...
