It won't be long and our Cats will be back on the hard wood doing their thing. It's good to see the games will be televised on the SEC network.
The Kentucky-Georgetown College men’s basketball exhibition game, initially slated for Nov. 7, will now be played Sunday, Nov. 9 in Rupp Arena. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. and the game will be televised live on the SEC Network.
In addition to the new date for the UK-Georgetown contest, Kentucky’s Nov. 2 exhibition opener against the University of Pikeville has been scheduled for 7 p.m. That contest will also air on the SEC Network.
Kentucky and Georgetown last met in an exhibition game to begin the 2005-06 season. The Wildcats prevailed by an 85-63 score. Kentucky and Pikeville have met twice before in exhibition play, with the Wildcats claiming victories in both appearances. UK is 51-4 all-time in exhibition contests and has won 37 of the last 38 played.
UK’s annual Blue-White Scrimmage on Oct. 27 will tip-off at 7 p.m. and will be carried online through the SEC Network+ digital platform and Watch ESPN.
