No surprise that the Cats are number one but very surprised to see Duke at number 8 as they should be a very talented team this year. I sure admire Bo Ryan and his coaching of Wisconsin. He seldom gets any of the top recruits and he always seems to have teams that play better than their talent. He doesn't get near the credit he deserves for always putting a good team on the floor and a team you never look forward to playing. The same could be said for Fred Hoiberg and the Iowa State Cyclones.(very under-rated) imo

As College Basketball Talk reports, the pre-season yearbooks are on their way to newsstands. Lindy’s is one of the first such publications to hit the stores and the yearbook has listed its top 10.

No surprise at No. 1.
◾1. Kentucky
◾2. Wisconsin
◾3. Arizona
◾4. Texas
◾5. North Carolina
◾6. Kansas
◾7. Virginia
◾8. Duke
◾9. Gonzaga
◾10. Iowa State

Remember, Kentucky beat Wisconsin in the national semifinal last season before losing to Connecticut in the national championship game.

Agree with CBT’s Rob Dauster that Duke seems a tad low at No. 8.

I agree Bruce, Duke is a wee bit too low in that poll in my opinion. I also think Arizona might be a little bit high. We will be rated either one or two by the Coaches and AP polls when they come out. I prefer not to start the season as number one, like being a top ten team each year with incentive to work our way to the top spot as the season progresses.
