Some coachs would sell their soul to get a advantage in recruiting high school athletes. I just don't see Cal lying to recruits.
Kentucky Sports Radio’s Ryan Lemond created a bit of a stir at the Ohio UK Convention when he said he thought UK coach John Calipari may well leave the Wildcats after this season.
However, a west coast source I have says Lemond’s speculation is not a lot different from what several coaches are using to recruit against UK.
“Evidently some coaches are telling potential recruits that Cal is leaving UK after this year, in spite of the fact that he signed a new contract. His friendship with LeBron James, and his comment that he would love to coach James all are being used in recruiting against UK a lot,” the source said.
