They didn't set the world on fire but also didn't get the big minutes either. They all looked solid and are going to be very good players for the Cats.
Trey Lyles scored 17 points, blocked two shots and 6-for-8 from the field and 4-for-4 at the foul line to score 17 points for the winning East team in Friday’s Jordan Brand Classic in Brooklyn.
Another UK signee, Karl Towns, had nine points and seven rebounds for the East while playing only 15 minutes.
Point guard Tyler Ulis continued his impressive postseason play with nine points, nine assists and six rebounds for the West while fellow UK signee Devin Booker went 6-for-6 at the foul line and had 11 points in 13 minutes. He was 2-for-8 from field.

The thing I hate about these high school all-star games is the LOVEFEST for dUKe! UUGGHH! Did any of the announcers mention they lost to Mercer this year?

The one thing I noticed that Cat fans will like is they all seemed to make their free throws, a good change for sure.

It does sound like a Duke, North Carolina, Kansas love fest with these high school all star game announcers. The thing that impressed me more than anything about he Kentucky incoming freshmen was that none tried to be flashy, played basic basketball and all seemed to be able to shoot free throws really well.

And half the time the announcers were running their mouth about all the well know info about all the players instead of telling folks who was doing what. Don't they know the game is supposed to be about the players and not all the superfulous knowledge they have at their fingers.

Tyler Ullis had six rebounds?
Seriously. Nine points, nine dimes, AND six boards from the wee fellow makes me smile.

Cat fans are going to love him and if Andrew comes back he better tighten up his laces and be ready for a battle for the starting spot.
