I would think with Young leaving and possibility of the Harrisons leaving makes Wesley a good possibility for Cal to at least check out. Time will tell.

Southern Cal shooting guard Byron Wesley announced Wednesday night that he will leave the program and transfer elsewhere to play his final season of college basketball. Wesley said he is on pace to graduate this summer, which would allow him to play immediately next season.

The 6-foot-5 player led the Trojans with 17.8 points and 6.4 rebounds. USC was 11-21 with a 2-16 record in the Pac-12 in its first season under Coach Andy Enfield.

The California native was a three-star prospect coming out of high school and was recruited primarily by West Coast schools.

Kentucky will likely look to add at least one perimeter player to next season’s roster if James Young and the Harrison twins leave for the NBA. Those players have not yet announced their intentions, and they have until April 27 to declare for the draft.

The only known graduate transfer that UK has reached out to so far was UNLV’s Bryce Dejean-Jones, who committed to Iowa State last weekend.
